Door Knobs

Architectural Components Ltd’s showroom ‘Locks & Handles’is central London’s oldest supplier of quality British door knobs and handles, window hardware and cabinet door knobs. This family owned company moved to new premises, close to Fulham Broadway station, in September and specialises in supplying the best quality British architectural hardware.

Centre door knobs and knockers, letter plates, door viewers & door bells are supplied to suit all designs of front doors. Bronze has historically been used for the manufacture of front door knobs and entrance furniture and, although this is more expensive than brass, is the material recommended. A bronze door knob becomes more beautiful with time and use as the finish will either maintain its brilliance through handling or age gracefully as the bronze oxidises.

For internal doors the largest selection of brass, bronze, iron & china door knobs & related hardware is stocked. Over 9000 different items are held in stock and a particular door knob may be available in three different sizes and maybe seven different finishes. As well as door knobs, comprehensive stocks of matching lever handles, pull handles, finger plates, keyhole escutcheons, door stops, closers, rim or mortice locks, latches and hinges are held.

Both traditional & modern cupboard door knobs are available in a choice of polished and antique brass, polished & satin chrome, bright & satin nickel, real & imperial bronze, stainless steel, antique iron, hardwood, glass & crystal and china finishes. Drawer and flush handles, as well as cupboard locks & catches are supplied.

Many of Britain’s best known Interior Designers and bespoke kitchen manufacturers specify door knobs from the Architectural Components range which is detailed on the website www.doorhandles.co.uk. Contact us on sales@knobs.co.uk
