We try to hold in stock the items listed on this website & endeavour to despatch orders within 24 hours.

You will understand that with the differing finishes & sizes available this is not always possible. If there

will be a delay of more than a few days in despatch of your order we will inform you & offer a full refund

if required. Please be aware that manufacturing times depend on production runs at the factory and we

cannot expect a particular item to be produced on demand. Several of our British manufactuers are

working on upto 6 week delivery times.

UK 

Doorhandles.co.uk orders of a net value exceeding £90.00 for UK mainland will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE.  

Delivery Charge for all other UK orders will be £6.00 excl VAT. For very small orders please telephone after you have

placed your order & we may refund any excess delivery charge. Please consider that the standard delivery charge allows for

the cost of packaging, recorded mail and queuing in the post office as well as the recently increased parcel costs.

'Locks & Handles' try to despatch orders on the day of receipt by 1st class recorded mail or courier service if

the order is received by 13.00. On despatch you will be notified of the Courier company or Royal Mail's  tracking number. 

Europe & Republic of Ireland up to 1kg

Normal delivery charge will be £15.00 for packages up to 1kg.

We however reserve the right to charge additionally for large/heavy low value orders.

We will contact you before despatch if this is necessary & wlll refund in full if this is not acceptable. 

Europe & Rest of the world

Delivery will be charged at an additional cost & we will quote this on receipt of your order before arranging despatch.

Please order using the Europe delivery option (£15.00) and we will contact you regarding any additional delivery

charge that may be necessary. (European orders will not be due additional charges unless the order is heavy or bulky).

If this is not acceptable we will refund you in full. As you will understand a standard delivery charge that allows for

all countries & for packages of varying size/weight is not possible. 

If we have quoted an additional delivery charge this can be paid for by purchasing 1 or more £5.00 delivery charge units.

Please note that all import duties, local taxes and customs clearance charges due on deliveries outside the UK are 

payable by the customer.

Claims

Claims for non-delivery, shortages or damage to goods cannot be entertained unless we, and the carrier,

are notified in writing within 7 days from receipt of Order Despatch Notification. For this reason we ask you to

check the delivery on receipt.

A signature is required for all deliveries. Royal Mail or our courier company will leave a notification if they are unable to

successfully make the delivery. If it is neccessary to return the order to us any further delivery attempts will be chargeable.
